The Drifters were created in 1953 by George Treadwell & Clyde McPhatter. George Treadwell managed the group and laid the foundation of what would make The Drifters one of the greatest groups of all time. The Drifters delivered numerous hits on both sides of the Atlantic , including Under The Boardwalk, Like Sister & Brother, Up On The Roof, Saturday Night At The Movies, Come On Over To My Place, Save The Last Dance For Me and many more. In 1988 they were inducted into the ‘Rock & Roll Hall of Fame,’ and in 2004 The Drifters were ranked at no.81 by ‘Rolling Stone Magazine’ top 100 ‘Greatest of All Time’.

Cornell Gunter’s Coasters are known for such hits as “Poison Ivy”, “Charlie Brown”, “YaketyYak”, and many more. Today they are as much a comedy act as a singing group. It’s been twenty years since Cornell’s untimely death and since that time, Charlie Duncan (who was an original member and the creative force behind the group keeping the music alive) incorporated Cornell’s genius into the group’s ongoing homage, to not only The Coasters’ music, but to Cornell himself. It is under his tutelage and guidance that the group continues to entertain today with Lionel Z who replaced Cornell after his untimely death. And today Cornell Gunter’s genius still lives on in the way Cornell Gunter’s Coasters present themselves on stage.

Multiplatinum, Rock & Roll, Grammy, and Vocal Group Hall of Fame Artist, The Platters crashed through the racial and gender divides that existed in the United States, paving the way for them to become one of the pre-eminent vocal groups of all time. Their debut hit single “Only You (and You Alone)” launched the vocal group as superstars on the world stage. With a solid foundation of multiple hit songs under their belts, The Platters today consist of all seasoned, veteran performers from film, stage and diverse music backgrounds. The Platters 21st century injection into today’s music scene continues to open the hearts and minds of new generations of music consumers to the rich vocal and historical tradition that is making timeless melodies relevant to all ages of worldwide fans.
