Bouchard & Associates, along with the support of Trooper Adam Keene of the Virginia State Police, is proud to present a local training opportunity, ALERRT – Civilian Response to an Active Shooter Event (CRASE) Seminar.

ALERRT: The FBI and the Bureau of Justice Assistance, working with Texas State University, developed the ALERRT Program – Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training. This program trains and certifies select law enforcement personnel, enabling them to train other law enforcement professionals, and everyday citizens like you and me!

CRASE: ALERRT, a Civilian Response to an Active Shooter Event, is a dynamic and highly effective program that teaches private citizens their Avoid-Deny-Defend concept – a three-stage process to use if you suddenly find yourself caught up in a shooting incident or other active threat situation.

In addition to the seminar, there will be professionals on site to discuss training and resources that are available locally for those who seek additional information about how to protect themselves and their families. These are intended as additional resources only and are not endorsed specifically by the event sponsor, speaker, the Virginia State Police, or the ALERRT Program or any of its affiliates.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early. Tickets are free, but required as seating is limited. For those who are compelled to give, please consider a donation to Bouchard & Associates’ “Cards for Cops” – a program benefiting our local law enforcement officers during the holiday season.

To RSVP, please complete the registration form located at If you are registering for more than one attendee, a separate form will be required for each. Please feel free to contact Ms. Catherine Allen at 540-368-9287 or should you have any questions, concerns, or comments.
