Affordable Native Seedlings @ Tri-County/City Soil & Water Conservation District

Tri-County/City, your local conservation district, is now taking orders for its affordable, high-quality, bare-root seedling sale (pick-up is in April 2018). Seedlings are sold in packs of two for $4. Six out of the seven species are Central Rappahannock regional natives: Fringetree (Chionanthus virginicus); Eastern Redbud (Cercis canadensis); Hazelnut (Carylus americana); Flowering Dogwood (Cornus florida – state flower); American Elderberry (Sambucus canadensis); American Beautyberry (Callicarpa americana); Lilac (Syringa vulgaris – NON-native). For descriptions, pictures, and order form please visit our website. We also sell 50 gallon rain barrels year-round for $75. All proceeds from the sale go to support our local environmental and conservation education programs.
